Featured Lake Article

Lake Cassidy Is a good sized small lake of roughly 150 acres

I think it would be a great bass lake - not many houses (I think three and on one broken down cabin ) LOTS of reeds, docks, lily’s and stumps ! The portable fish finder said there were lots of fish all around the perimeter of lake on all three sizes.

The launch is located on the west side of lake approximately 3 miles east of Marysville

And is VERY SHALLOW!!! But big. The Lake has a speed limit of 8 mph and a 10 hp motor limit. Parking is great it is across street and has a state toilet.

The lake is stocked with Largemouth bass, yellow perch, crappie, bullhead catfish, rainbow trout and pumpkinseed sunfish are available, with a slot limit on bass. Fishing should be good for panfish. With bass and perch the most abundant from what I heard on the lake from locals

The lake is very stained with a visual sight of only 2-3 feet at best the water seems to flow out the south and in at two spots one mid east side and the other on the west northern area the northern area is mostly stumps and snags were the rest is reeds and docks with little coves dotted around the lake. Great bass fishing terrain.

Overall the lake is a good lake.
