Wow, Anton Jones really told it the way it is. The political status of the Lake Chelan fishery is quite complicated. It is a huge lake and has some exciting and equally huge fish in it, most of which have been planted at one time or another. If Lake Chelan only had its indigenous species it wouldn't be nearly as exciting as it is now. Let's keep muttering along and doing reactive rather than proactive ecology.
