Fished for a few hours just south of the main dock and caught one nice 13" Rainbow. Tried a worm off the top and bottom, power bait off the bottom and gulp corn off the top but got em with a half worm and rainbow power bait off the bottom. Tough fishing here, gotta be patient. This is the second trout I've caught at Fenwick out of 12 or so times out, fishing from shore.

This is one of the few lakes the state could plant some more fish in. It has lots of shore access and gets plenty of pressure. Fishing is usually fair at best. Thanks for the report.

I totally agree, especially considering it's open year round. Planting a few thousand little ones in the fall would be a good idea. I have yet to catch one that's a "holdover." Water clarity isn't the best but it doesn't seem to affect the quality of the trout, the meat was nice and pink and delicious.
