Hit the water at 4 am with plastics and ultralight bobber jig setups ready to fish all day. Landed a half dozen or so large mouth in the 15-17inch range with the largest being 17.5inches (the one in the picture). Also got into some crappie with the bobber rigs and landed this nice 15incher. Fished hard but had a blast!

Good job. I was over there for three days a couple weeks ago fishing for small mouth and that crappie is bigger than any smb that we put in my boat.

Care to share the set up detail. Looks like you were set along the highway south of Steamboat.

Hey I'm heading to banks lake my self on the 29th. You have any tips you can give me? I'm looking to just catch bass/trout/walleye/crappie and can only fish from shore. I want to be prepared with the right equipment before I go. Nice Fishing!
