I started fishing at about 5 pm. I went with my girlfriend so it was easier to fish out of the kayaks so she could do her thing and I could do mine. About ten minutes into it I was throwing my yamamoto back into the lillypads and twitchin it out on top. I saw a few big ripples from under the surface and knew what was coming next. About 3 seconds later this thing just slammed my bait and I set the hook. It took me a lil longer than normal to get it in because I was juggling my kayak paddle while it was trying to wrap around the kayak. It was pretty sweet. 5.5 lbs. And no I don't hold my fish 3 feet away from my body towards the camera to make it look bigger.
