Hit the hole near my house after work. I only had an hour before I had to run errands so I needed to run the circuit rather fast. I started in my usual spot and tossed out a grasshopper popper. I received a few bites but couldn’t hook any. I headed over to the island and as I was casting out near it I heard something to my right I looked over briefly, at that point I heard a loud splash, I looked back towards my popper and I see it slowly floating up. I received a few more hits and watched one LMB actually follow my popper around and snap at it. The water here is very tainted so these guys don’t see so well, it’s the vibrations that draw them, along with a little piece of worm for attractant.

Back to the loud splash there is a large bass in this lake and he has already played my before, this I believe is just another chapter in our battle. SO far he is winning, but I am persistant…..
