Started off with son at about 0700 at our normal hot spots, with no luck. No fish were top feeding today. Attempted to fish from boat to shore with vampire rapala, a few crankbaits, with red/yellow corn, and some nightcrawlers. No luck. Had a few bites from some SMB about 4" long, obviously not worth keeping. Did some trolling while fixing sons pole, had a trout chasing but did not land. Weather was great, not cold, or damp, no wind. Great lake, have caught many fish from here just not today. Will try again before seasons over.

I'll report for my girlfriend who caught all the fish today, and I got completly skunked. I only had 3 bties. We used a Thomas Fighting Fish spinner with a 1/4" worm. i was using a yellow trout spinner bait, and then a worm and bobber from hot spot one. There were a few other people in boats on the lake, after asking about there luck they said nothing but a few bites. Must have been an off day. Fish were top feeding. Had a great time on the lake.

Set boat out about 0745 on the right side from the boat launch. Fishing were top feeding, and by using a bluefox trout spinner caught 4 rainbow trout within the first hour. Buddy caught 4 throughout the morning. Had many bites throughout some of which were not brought into boat or were otherwise too small. C&R practiced and no fish were harmed. Bait used was yellow fly, bluefox trout spinner, and some medium sized night crawlers cut into quarters. Had a great day on the lake. No other fishers on Friday morning. Winds picked up around 1100 am, no rain or overcast. Fish stopped bitting all together at about 1130 am. Overall great first experience on Panther Lake.

Only caught one fish that was 11 in. albs. I really recommend you go here because the lake is nice and quiet. The fish are plentiful and the fish are big. Happy Fishing

First trip to Panther Lake ever, but it won't be my last. After setting my canoe in at around 7:30am headed right out to fish. My buddy caught one right away about 12 inches. Throughout the next 3 hours he limited out and I had 3. Largest fish were around 15 inches with the smallest about 10. Beautiful lake and quiet.
Used powerbait with 2' leaders off the bottom. Fish were rising to the surface as well. A perfect place to try some fly fishing too. I'll definitely be back with my kids.

Set out at about 1100 from the boat launch. There was maybe a handful of boats on the lake, so the water was calm. I floated around for a while with just bites. Finally I found a good spot that was bite after bite. My line was in the water maybe 5 minutes at a time. Caught my limit plus about four that broke loose at the raft. Fun day with great weather that ended in BBQ trout. Can't complain!

I took a day off to enjoy the nice weather. I got to the lake about 0630 and trolled out 20' from the dock next to the launch. I casted out while I was still getting my stuff ready and wham! My line was only out for 90 seconds and already had a fish on. It was nice 13'' rainbow and fought hard. The water was flat and calm as can be. My next cast was in the same direction and this fish broke my leader off so there's a bow swimming with my berkley gulp alive floating corn in its mouth. I was there hoping to get some LMB but struck out. One bass swam up and hit my swimming jig. I managed to get a couple fish trolling my gold kastmaster and a couple off the bottom with the floating corn. The wind started to pick up at 0845 so I headed back to shore. It was a good couple hours on the lake.

My cousin and I hit the lake at about 9 am. As soon as we got my raft out to a decent spot and casted our lines out, I caught the first fish of the day within seconds. A half an hour or less later, my cousin and I caught a fish at the same time. We were doing pretty well until it hit about noon, everything tapered off, we stayed until 1:30 pm, and decided to pack it in. Together we caught a total of 6 fish, I caught 4 and my cousin caught 2. I was using orange power eggs that had a hint of yellow in them and my cousin was using orange power bait "trout nuggets". They were all on the smaller side of the scale, probably about 9-11 inches long. Anyway, we had a really fun time. :)

First one on the lake at 5:30 am. Circled the entire lake with only catch catching 3 small ones
after throwing multiple lures. Got back to boat launch and tried one more patch of reeds.
Landing my rapala in the reeds and finally a pick up with some weight, but only measured 14".
Water level appears lower and clearer.
