Opening day tradition for my fishing buddy and me. Got to Tiger about 8:00 and was greeted with wind and people getting blown off the water. We launched and started trolling pop gear, worms and power bait. Worms worked better than power bait. We caught our limit of so-so rainbows; hoping for some holdovers, but none to be found. At one point there were only three boats son the lake (because of the wind), unusual for an opening day on Tiger, but it did make it easier to maneuver the boat. We had our best luck trolling down the middle, but caught fish on either side. Saw a number of eagles that were also out fishing.

Started at 0600 with no one else on the lake. Caught first Rainbow at about 0645. Did some trolling with a few bits though nothing stuck. Moved to second hotspot for the other Rainbow and Perch at about 0730. Had some good bits at the last hot spot though couldn't land anything. Great morning until the skiers and large powerboat came out at about 0900 to make some waves to intense for my 12' Trophy. Overall great day on the lake, recommend any jig, lure, crank-bait, trolling gear, with WORMS! Don't be stingy take a good amount because most of the time I felt like I was feeding the fish!. Great time. Will be back tomorrow with my boys for another day!

Worms, worms, worms. The most natril bait of them all. All you need for this lake is a pole a hook and a worm. We caught 4 fish in 45 min. Do just this. The biggest fish measuring at 11 in. 1 lb.

Ok giving four stars for the potential i think this lake has. This was the first time out there and we were only there 30 minutes. We came to tiger to one find it after leaving bad day of fishing at devereux, and two see what the lake was like. in that 30 minutes from the shore caught two trout both 12 inches and had several bites. it will be nice to have time to drop the boat in and see what happens.

Four of us hit Tiger early (for us) about 5:45 am. We were surprised that the parking lot was only about 2/3 full but it did make easier navigation on the lake. Fish were caught everywhere on the lake using every manner of lure. We caught them trolling super-dupers, pop gear, dodgers, worms, flies (wooley buggers), power bait, wedding rings, and a half-n-half spoon. It didn't take long to get out limits.

We had a great time on Tiger Lake, catching fish off the left side of the lake (headed out from boat launch) up near the point about 150 yards from launch. Only a couple of boats on the water and one apparent local idiot (not fishing) who chose to run their boat at top spped around the lake getting as close as they could to everybody's dock.

My fishing buddy and I headed for Tiger for opening day, kind of a tradition for us by now. We decided to sleep in a little and let those with the energy to get up early to go for it. We arrived at the lake about 7:30 and people were coming off the lake like crazy with limits of big fish. We got the boat launched and started trolling pop gear and worms. We went all over the lake and caught a few of the smaller, stocked fish and enjoyed the sun when it came out and endured the clouds and rain as it passed through.
After having our quota of fun we started talking about where we would go on Sunday and started troling for the launch when my buddy hooked a big (16.5") trout, which he landed with my superb netting skills. That, of course, prompted fishing for another hour looking for its twin. He had limited so was able to sit back and enjoy a victory cigar while I did the looking. No luck so we called it a day.
People seemed to be fishing all over the lake and also seemed to be moving around a lot, both signs that after the early morning catching that the fish had been thinned out pretty well. Buddy caught his fish in about 23 feet of water, about halfway between the launch and the little point that sticks out into the lake, south and east of the launch.
I went through process to post picture, but couldn't preview it before submitting report.

went out to tiger to get into some bows everyone was catching fish, between the 4 people i was fishing with we each limited out. right away we got double and that was at about 1 o' clock. Took a few hours to catch another one but then the bite picked up not as good as a trip but any day fshing is a expierence to learn. Most of our trips we have always limited out using worms or wedding rings (worms give a better bite but wedding rings work for us sometimes). No size all fish were between 9-13 inches. Water tempt was 70, and we fished in 20 feet of water. After limiting out on trout left for Square lake for bluegill.
