Started fishing outgoing tide around 7:30 am. River was quiet with only one fish jumping. Also saw a capsized (or abandon) boat floating down the river. Finally hooked a 24 in hen at 11 am. The hit was light and it didn't run when I set the hook. I wasn't sure if I got a fish until it woke up couple of seconds later. Net it after a few good runs. Action did not continue so I packed up around 12:30 pm. Tough day fishing but still awesome because I got my first salmon...ever!

Made a quick trip to the river this morning, before heading to Shelton to do some business. It was pouring down rain, and I didn't see any fish rolling. Had enough time to fish the high outgoing for a half hour or so. Made a half dozen casts, before I hooked into a bright hen. Fought it for a little bit on my 8lb line, before finally bringing it in. Left shortly thereafter.

Tried my luck this morning on the outgoing tide. Bite was on early on, but didn't last very long. Seen a few landed, but mostly jacks. Didn't see very many fish rolling at all. Hooked two early on, on back to back casts. Fished a while longer, and hooked a few more. Got done, just as it started raining again.

got off work at 3pm. So i grabbed my gear reel quick and headed down to the river. Fished the incoming tide. Ran through a ton of bait. ended up removing my splitshot and free drifted. hooked up one around 4 and the last two at high tide when the river was a lake. Didnt realize i had the last one on. No nibbles, nothing. Ended up swallowing up the bait

Took my mom out fishing this morning. She was anxious to do some fishing with me after seeing all the pictures I was sending her. We fished the top of the outgoing to low tide. It was pretty slow, seen a few rollers but not too much action. The bite was pretty slow, took us a while to whack and stackem. For a rookie, my mom did extremely well. She went 3/5 within a couple hours, losing a couple fish that wouldn't stop jumping. I did alright myself, I got a nice 19 1/2" jack and three bucks. Had to work for them though, I lost 3 and missed 4 other solid bites. Used up about a quart of eggs.

Hit the river this morning before work. fished from 0630 - 0800. Thought the light showers would push some fish in. Saw what i believed to be a few rollers way down at the bend from where i was fishing. could be ducks, who knows. half an hour later, nothing. Called it a morning.

Fished an hour after low tide this morning, and didn't see many fish jumping during the time I was there. I was drift fishing the first half hour, before I switched over to free drifting. Once I switched over, I started getting bit. They were really aggressive this morning, picking up my offering right after it hit the water. Got into a bunch of jacks and a couple adults. They were all pretty fun to fight on 8 lb line. Left with 2 adults and 2 16" jacks after the river went slack.

Fished the Green for about an hour before work. The silvers were rolling but no luck getting one on. I did have one solid hit right before I had to leave so I may have just been too early. Try again this afternoon.

Fished the middle of the incoming to high tide this morning. The fishing was pretty poor, with a strong upriver flow. Seen a few rolling, but most were on the far side of the river. All quiet for the first half hour, before the bite turned on. Nothing but jacks and mini jacks, until I hooked into a quality buck. Caught some bigger 14-16" jacks afterwards, but no more adults. Didn't want to waste anymore bait feeding the mini jacks, so I left with the few I kept.

Fished early this morning and no takers. Tide was coming in, and Here comes that big ole seal again. That thing has been hanging around that stretch of river lately. saw one or two rolls, That seal chased them everywhere. Didnt see any one around me catch anything either.
