Two beautiful lakes in Washington's Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Trout lake is around 2,000 ft and a 1.5 mile hike. Copper is at 4,050 ft and a grueling 3.5 miles from the trailhead, but well worth the hike. Both lakes are reported to have fish in them. Trout has rainbow and Copper has rainbow, cutthroat, and eastern brook.

Stuart and Colchuck both used to be nice hikes back when it was 9 miles from trailhead to lakes. And fishing was fantastic!

Beautiful lakes both of them. I used to hike into Lake Colchuck in the Alpine Wilderness, but no more. My legs got too old for that. I miss those places.
