Never heard of them.

Can't see how they would have anything to do with air in the bladder and getting it out of the airbladder while the fish is in the livewell. That air is 'sealed' in and expands quickly because of lack of water pressure outside of the fish like it would have in deep water.

I am certainly not an expert on the subject but i did spend some time reading up on this on their website. The premise is when a deep bass is placed in the live well without being fizzed, the air bladder caused the bass to go belly up. As a result the gills are not completely submerged and the fish can die. These weights, clipped to the anal fin counter balance the effects of the air bladder and keep the fish upright. This would allow the fish to naturally adjust the air bladder without the need for fizzing. 12 clips for $20 does not seem to be a huge investment in this new idea.
I plan on giving these a try this winter.

*Edit*
After reading others input on this topic in another forum, it seems that the real problem is with the way the air bladder when expanded, puts pressure on the internal organs and can damage them. I thought the fish would naturally expel the gasses from the air bladder but that just shows you how little i know.
