Premium Membership renewals

Postby Mike Carey » Wed Feb 23, 2011 6:55 am

We know a lot of members come up for renewal this time of year so just a friendly reminder to send in your renewal and keep your Premium Membership account active. We are working on new maps and features throughout the coming year so we don't want members to miss out.

Renewal for current members is only $20/year. Just include a note on your order that you are a renewal and your User Name, and we'll credit your card back $4.

If you use PayPal or personal check, make a note of your User Name and that it is a renewal, and I'll renew your membership manually.

Thanks for your continuing support!

THIS IS IMPORTANT: SEND ME AN E-MAIL WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR GOOGLE PAYMENT AND I WILL REFUND YOUR CARD $4. THE SYSTEM ISN'T SET UP YET TO DO THIS AUTOMATICALLY.

Good question. On the front page of the web site, on the upper right side is a box that will have your picture (if you added one to your Blog page). It will also say when your membership expires, and it has a link to "Upgrade Membership" which is a renewal link. It goes to the google checkout. Just be sure to include a note sayign it's a renewal.

Or wait for the renewal email that should be coming to you shortly if your membership expires in the next 30 days, or has expired in the last 30 days. It will contain instructions for renewing @ $20 without us having to give you a refund.

I just sent you a PM Mike. I would rather not use a credit card. Im diligently trying to pay them off. I would prefer to send a check. Is this Possible? I got my email reminder. Good idea for some of us 60's children whose memories are slightly bent. Hehe

I see a joined date but there is no place that shows a expire date.

I'm not sure where you're looking, but that info is not available on the forum. Try the sidebar of any non forum page:

And all of this is super old. It doesn't have an Upgrade Membership link anymore. For whatever reason that confused too many people... it made them think their membership was already expired, even though the date above it clearly stated otherwise. It now states Extend Membership. And this info was never on the front page.
