Hot into the Summer time Fishing and Sockeye are probably the BIG NEWS as the Columbia system and Baker Lake see record numbers of fish returning. Lake Washington numbers are up as well, although not to levels that will allow a season to open.

Dave Graybill gives us the techniques for the Columbia Sockeye here. http://www.washingtonlakes.com/ReadArticle.aspx?id=431

For Baker Lake, just scan the most recent reports and comments to get the info you need to catch these beautiful fish. http://www.washingtonlakes.com/ReportList.aspx?id=97&t=1

For South Sound anglers, Uncle Wes has a nice write up on Lost Lake trout fishing. http://www.washingtonlakes.com/ReadArticle.aspx?id=430

Salmon, Halibut, and Tuna. Sounds like a perfect Trifecta and Oregon has it. Check out Pete Heley's latest update. http://www.washingtonlakes.com/ReadArticle.aspx?id=432

Wow, as we head out of the end of winter and into Spring the options just multiple!
Ling Cod off the Westport Jetty...lowland lake openers...hot kokanee action at Lake Chelan... the list just goes on. Too much to cover so I recommend you keep an eye out on the growing number of Spring Fishing Reports anglers are posting. That said, here are a few highlights recently posted:

Westport Jetty Fishing Video</a>. No lings but some fun black sea bass action. Remember to watch the horizon or you may get sea sick! http://www.washingtonlakes.com/WatchVideoHD.aspx?id=172

Dave Garybill reviews the Columbia National Wildlife Lakes</a> just opened. http://www.washingtonlakes.com/ReadArticle.aspx?id=484

Two for One from John Kruse in the Audio Section. Spring Trout Fishing Tactics and Spring Chinook Fishing at Drano Lake. http://www.washingtonlakes.com/Audio.aspx

And Pete Heley keeps us up to date on Oregon Angling Prospects. http://www.washingtonlakes.com/ReadArticle.aspx?id=483

Alright, no excuses, there's fish to be caught so go get em!

Oh, and be sure to post your fishing report for a chance at winning our monthly drawing for great prizes from our Sponsors and a free one year Premium Membership. Just post a fishing report and you are automatically entered! The more reports you post the better your chances at winning
