My teammate and I stopped on the way to WSU over last summer...about 4 miles west of LaCrosse in Eastern Washington...we kept two-a-piece. After this, I just sat on the bank with a broken tree limb, a 5 foot piece of line, and a hook, just having fun seeing all these foot long trout coming by and hitting it. This is a must fish, and on our way over for a baseball tournament at WSU this year, we will DEFINITELY be back.

On Highway 27 towards Pullman or Moscow, Idaho. It's on the "Palouse" in Whitman County.

Yeah you can see it from the road. Go around 6 and you will not be disappointed! Fish jumping constantly!

I actually live in Pullman so I'm fairly close to this Pond. But when I was heading back to Pullman from visiting family I didn't see it but I plan to go look with some buddies probably this week or next. I was wondering if it would still have decent fishing this time of year for Trout/Bass?

I tried for bass with no luck. The trout were crazily hitting our lines! It's a must to stop!

Nice, I might have to bring up a fishing pole this year when I go back up to school and try it out, after looking at some of the reports, it looks like some nice fishing.

Alright well we hit this pond recently and only got 6 trout all really small around 8 inches probably, they weren't stockers though so it's probably a healthy pond. I'm going to hit this place again with some friends early saturday morning to try again to get a large trout for the smoker.

Sorry to hear that!

My friend caught one that was probably 15-16 inches there when we went...when they start biting, it doesn't stop!

The report page everyone seems to be using powerbait, is that what you use? We are thinking of bringing worms and maggots this time and see how that fairs.

Edit: Also the report page says it's bank fishing only. I have a small inflatable raft does anyone know if we're allowed to use those there? I want to get access to another corner, but the weeds are to high for casting.

How thick are the weeds in there right now? If they're that thick I might try fishing there late sept or oct.

I went here with a friend on Sunday and those have to be the dumbest trout ever. They kept trying to eat the bobbers and hitting them. My friend ended up getting skunked and I caught 4 trout, I lost one fish that took the drag when I initially set the hook but then it got off, I think it mightve been one of the larger trouts in the pond, the one's I did catch were about 10-11" except 1 that was about 6".
