Well, I will tell you this much She was caught on a 'specially rigged' yamamoto Hula Grub. But Im not gonna give away the color which is the key factor for most lakes. As long as your bait has action and it matches the color they prefer then your in business. shape can really help too. when it is narrowed down to exactly what they are feeding on. Then they dont think twice before they eat it. good luck!

She weighed 5lb 15.75 oz from mystery lake X. The head coloration was unlike any other I have ever seen. The head on both sides was bluish in areas. Super nice. This was my largest smallie of the year and my eighth at or over 5.0lbs. Fall should provide big ones too, but his will be my most remembers since it was on a topwater.
