If someone were inclinded to go look at the Lake Index, sort it by GPS, and find the center GPS coordinates for all the lakes that dont have GPS coordinates I could add them and we woulnd't have this problem anymore.... ;)

With everyone putting in their input on the "Hotspots" pretty soon there will be no more fish left and the "Hotspots "will be "Depleted Spots".Then we'll need to start yet another thread called "Alternate Hotspots".Hehehehe.

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

I'm with Racfish on this one but I still think passing around a little "extra" knowledge onto others is also a great idea. I just can't wait to see what new areas I can find when this thing goes and running.cheers

OK, I just posted my 1st lake report since the Hotspots have been up ( I know, how long has it been up, sad, very sadBoo hoo! ) . I like it! But (of course) I have a couple questions for the gurus,..

1st - I posted for Greenlake - the Flag marking the lake is stuck right about in the middle of the playground instead of the lake. Not a big deal, but I tried to figure out a way that I could move it over to the lake itself and couldn't. Is there a way to do this?

2nd - My 1st two hotspots went basically as follows (with more description of course) ... #1. for best results, troll from here to #2. and #2. See comments in #1.

Now when we are able to see them, are everyone's hotspots and comments going to show up at once? And if that is the case, will these two make sense if there are 5, 10, 15 others out there?

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

1st - my understanding is if you put the flag in the wrong place you just delete it and do it again. Make sure the zoom is out on the map so you can see where o put it.

2nd - good question! I don't know. You'll have to shot Aaron a PM to get the answer. When you do, let us know!

Thanks for working with the Hotspots. We know it's asking a lot for guys to put in hotspots when they can't turn around and see them. But it will be worth it when it goes "live"

You can add hotspots to your reports, but not view them - yet. When we have the next update out (projected to be January 15th) you'll be able to see them all.
